Alex Peahl, MD MSc
Dr. Alex Peahl, MD MSc, is an Assistant Professor and physician-investigator in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Her overarching career goal is to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and equity of reproductive health care through developing, evaluating, and disseminating high-quality maternity care approaches that integrate medical and psychosocial care. She completed the National Clinical Scholars program and a Master of Science in Health Care Research and Policy at the University of Michigan. She is a nationally recognized expert on prenatal care redesign and innovation. She is the co-Director of the prenatal care redesign committee at the University of Michigan, and the Chair of the Redesigning Prenatal Care Initiative for ACOG. She and her husband, Cam, are the proud parents of a 5 month old baby, Charlie, and a 90 lb. yellow lab, Tucker.
