Dr. Christine Dehlendorf

Dr. Christine Dehlendorf is a family physician and faculty at the University of California San Francisco and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.  Dr. Dehlendorf has completed a Family Planning fellowship at UCSF, obtained a Masters in Clinical Research, and received training in research methodology surrounding family planning. Her current research includes understanding women’s needs, values, and preferences around contraceptive and family planning care, with a focus on the needs of low-income and diverse communities. Dr. Dehlendorf believes that care providers are in a unique position to not only promote individual health but to also influence how healthcare systems think about what health is and how we can help everyone to live their best and healthiest lives. She infuses the role of family medicine into her work to elevate the voices of patients and communities to help achieve equity in health outcomes.
