Carrie Pierce, MD

Dr. Pierce completed medical school and family medicine residency in Chicago, IL, then moved to New York City for a a one- year fellowship in reproductive health and  advocacy with the Reproductive Health Access Project. She took the next logical step   after 2 major cities and moved to a small town in rural Oregon, where she is on faculty  at a family medicine residency. Carrie loves practicing the full scope of family medicine,  from newborns to geriatric patients. Her passion is reproductive health, helping women  and families plan when and whether to have children, and subsequently helping them  have the healthiest pregnancies and babies possible. She is privileged to be able to  share her zeal for patient centered reproductive healthcare with the residents she  teaches. She is particularly interested in access to reproductive healthcare among rural populations, and in the way language and word choice affect the patient experience.
