Lastascia Coleman ARNP, CNM

Lastascia Coleman is a certified nurse-midwife. Her educational background includes obtaining a B.S. in psychology from the University of Iowa, a Masters in Nursing and Healthcare Practice from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Science in Nursing- Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to clinical practice, she enjoys working on quality improvement projects and teaching medical students and residents. Her academic interests include racial disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality, interdisciplinary education and breastfeeding. Outside of work, she likes spending time with family, reading and cooking.

Lynette Cooper DNP, ARNP, FNP-C

Lynette Cooper is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Educator with a array of experience caring for patients across the lifespan. She is especially passionate about addressing the effects of health disparities on marginalized communities, in general, and Black women and babies, in particular. Her research interests include implicit bias in healthcare, social determinants of health, and reproductive justice
